We have had a fantastic day today. We all enjoyed learning about the landmarks of Devizes on the town trail. Canoeing was great fun (even in the rain) and we were all delighted when we returned to hot chocolate and biscuits. The children have all eaten well tonight and are currently (7.30pm) loving orienteering.
The children enjoyed a fantastic walk all the way up Roundway Down, reaching Oliver’s fort at the top! Some then rolled, some slid and some walked down the other side. The walk took the whole day and was filled with laughter, conversation and much learning about the natural world. All the children enjoyed a hearty meal and then we had our ‘camp fire’ where we sang, danced and roasted marshmallows!
