Bratton Primary School is a village school, set in spacious grounds in the heart of Bratton, near Westbury. You will be joining a growing village school, which received an Ofsted Good judgement in May 2017 and which sits at the heart of a supportive community.

The Governors are looking to appoint two outstanding, dynamic and ambitious teachers committed to moving the school from Good to Outstanding. The two advertised maternity cover posts will be for full time class teachers, with year groups to be determined from candidates’ strengths.

  • Willing and able to support / lead a subject area and raise standards across the school.
  • Rigorous in ensuring pupils make the required progress in order to reach age related expectations.

The Governors are looking to appoint a dynamic and committed member of staff to run our already thriving and increasingly in demand after school care club at Bratton Primary. We are therefore looking for an after school club leader to continue to drive the provision forward and run the after school care across the week.

The club runs from 3-15pm, to 6pm and caters for Reception age children, up to Year 6.

The successful candidates will be:

  • Committed to excellence in all they do, fostering high expectations of all pupils, including vulnerable groups.
  • Committed to on-going professional development.
  • Familiar and conversant with food hygiene protocols and regulations.
  • A strong communicator.
  • Able to develop children’s play in a positive and proactive way.
  • Able to build relationships with pupils, staff and parents and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to foster an atmosphere of mutual respect.
  • Able to support and foster the ethos established within the school.
  • Well versed in attending to the social and emotional needs of the children attending the club.
