After registration and early morning activities, the school day (apart from Wednesday) starts with assembly at 9.05am, which has a different focus each day. At Bratton School we place great value on the importance of the assembly as a way of celebrating the day-to-day life of the school, as well as reinforcing the unity of the school community. It gives pupils the chance to participate in a variety of ways from reading, music and drama to dance and project work, with the major focus always on the learning and development of the children.

MONDAY – Whole school (led by Head teacher or Deputy Head)

TUESDAY – Achievement/Birthdays (Parents invited – check the newsletter each week to see if your child has been awarded a certificate.)

THURSDAY – Whole School (led by local clergy)

FRIDAY – Class Assemblies

Parents retain the right to withdraw their children from acts of collective worship & R.E. lessons.
